One thing I have noticed when I start praying is that the more I pray, the more I find to pray about! Once you start praying for one area, many more areas come to mind. One of the most dedicated and committed systematic woman of prayer I know, has a system of praying that is incredible. It is very detailed and there are certain areas she prays for on specific days, and her prayer list is like a book. One incredible thing about having a specific plan is when an answer is revealed to something you’ve been praying for, you can actually look back and see when you prayed, and then when the answer came. Many times, we forget when and what we prayed for and then forget to thank God when the answer is manifested. (Yikes!)

The World Prayer Center in Colorado Springs, CO has prayer teams that pray for our nation around the clock. In the natural realm, we have no way of knowing how powerfully our nation has been affected by the prayers of God’s people. Prayer has the power to turn the heart of a nation toward what is just and right. Prayer for our nation can cause victories to be won, which would not have happened without God’s people spending time on their knees.
