Thursday Nov 17 Run Your Race

Finding your passion means you run your own grace race. Too often we want to be in somebody else’s race, or even run in their lane. If we did that at a track meet, we would be disqualified. So stay in your own race, and stay in your lane. Once you find your grace place, run your race well. Get rid of anything that hinders you from running your best race. That is where you will do life best! We aren’t competing against each other, we are just trying to be our very best. Quit looking over your shoulder to see how others are running their race. Look ahead, down the track and look to Jesus, he is the author and finisher of your race! When we get to the finish line, we don’t want to be there by ourselves. We want many others to make it to heaven because of our influence in their lives. We have to be confident in our giftings to be able to lead and influence people around us. We are competing for the souls of men. Lets take as many people with us to heaven as we possibly can!

What does a grace-filled person running their race look like?
They are not deterred by distractions
They don’t get involved drama
No time for discontentment

They have the heart of a servant
They have the tongue of the wise
They have hands to bless
They encourage, help, lead, and even walk through dark places with grace.
They know where their strength comes from.
