Gettting unstuck

Have you ever felt stuck and wonder how to get unstuck? One of my husband’s favorite things to do when he speaks on marriage is have each person look at their mate and say, I’m stuck! Then he says, that makes me happy! In the marriage covenant, being stuck is a good thing. We’ve made a covenant, said some sacred vows, and made a decision to be stuck! Being stuck in a rut is a whole different thing. You might have heard that a rut is just a grave with both end kicked out. We can get stuck doing or even believing the same thing, and it can feel like there is no way out of the situation we are in. In a situation like that, it is so good to remember that what we can’t do, God can do! We need to begin to meditate on God’s Word and remember with God all things are possible. Remind yourself of these truths:
I have power, love and a sound mind
I am a new creation in Christ
I am chosen for success
I am complete
I am secure
I am confident
I am free
I am capable
I am spiritually alive
I am God’s workmanship
I am welcome in God’s presence
I am protected by God.
I am who God says I am
I believe God’s truth about me
His truth has set me free!
I don’t have to stay stuck!
So instead of sinking into hopelessness, and negative thinking, and remaining stuck, believe that you are getting unstuck by the power of God that is at work within you. Great days are ahead for you!

Fufill Your Destiny

You have a purpose and a destiny. A song from years back said these words, I have a destiny, I know I will fulfill… That kind of confession is what we should be saying about ourselves. The Bible says that the steps of a righteous man/woman are ordered of the Lord. (PS 37:23). It also says in Proverbs 4:18 that the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, it gets brighter and brighter. To get on the path to our destiny, we can be sure that as we listen to the Lord, He will give us direction and help us get on the path that He has for our life. Once on that path, we will have more and more light for the next step we are to take. Sometimes it feels like just enough light for the step that we are on! The word light can mean revelation, insight or even information for where we are at the moment. To know when we need more, God will reveal it to us, as we need it!. We can make it to the place that God has for us. Sometimes, we are looking for specific information, when we aren’t even doing the general information that God has put in His Word!!! When we become obedient to what we know we are to do, more insight and revelation will be revealed. Can you make it to your destiny? Yes you can…..expect more specific direction as you obey his general instructions!

You are a Masterpiece

Intro:
All through this year, we have concentrated on the word “more” for our Ladies Ministry at our church, Amazing Grace Fellowship. Hi, this is Dorette Schaal with your dailyeword. Our Rejoice Conference theme this spring was “MORE”, so this fall, we decided to stay on the same topic. All of our ladies Bible Studies are studying the book, “You are Made for More”, by Lisa Comes. So in the coming weeks, using her book, and the Bible as our guide, we will see how much more God has for us. I hope you are ready to receive it all. Here is your daily eword.

You are God’s Workmanship. Did you know you are a work of art? Ephesians 2:10 says that! If you have ever wondered if your life has value, you can be sure you do. Your creator used his creative abilities to make you the beautiful, amazing person that you are. One reason that is important is because when that resonates deep, down in your spirit, you become aware that you don’t have to be like anybody else but you. He made only one you, and one of you is enough! We may think we would like to be somebody else, but the way to your very best life is to be you, 100%.
One of my favorite artists lives in our area, and his works are some of the most beautiful paintings I have ever seen. Few people know that this fantastic artist is color blind. I can imagine when he decided on his profession, there were doubters. The interesting thing is, he didn’t have to try to do or be anything other than what he was created for, and that was to create amazing pieces of art. So what are you created to do? Don’t quench the dream that God placed in your heart because of doubters around you. Dream thieves could have kept Robert Moore from fulfilling his destiny as a great artist. Make sure you fulfill your destiny and be the masterpiece God created you to be.

People With A Strong Spirit

One of the best ways to stand strong in the midst of adversity is to have a strong spirit. Three easy ways that can help us develop our spirit and get strengthened on the inside, is by spending time in the Word, by praying in the Spirit, and through worship. One of the best things we can do to build our faith is in Romans 10:17. It says that “faith comes by hearing, and by hearing the Word of God”. To get stronger in our spirit, we need to be people of the Word. We should read it, study it, talk it, sing it, pray it, and live it. Another powerful tool we have to strengthen our spirit is to pray in the Holy Spirit, or in our prayer language. Jude verse 20 tells us to build ourselves up in our most holy faith, by praying in the Holy Spirit. We can get stronger and stronger as we daily pray in the spirit. It is like using a muscle. The muscle increases in strength as you use it, and it works like that for our spirit. So pray in the spirit often. You can even do it when you are driving, doing dishes, mowing the yard or any other activity that you do by yourself. Maybe even in the shower! The third thing that helps us develop a strong spirit is worship. An old song from years ago went like this…it give strength to me, when I worship thee and my mouth is filled with praise, it will break the bands, as I lift my hands, and bring glorious victory. Not only does God inhabit the praises of His people, there is power in individual and in corporate worship. So strengthen your spirit daily, by remaining in the Word, by praying in the Spirit, and by worshipping. Your inner man will say thank you as it gets strengthened day by day!

Everything Will Be Alright

Intro:
Hi kids, this is Dorette with an encouraging word for Kids today. I hope you are realizing how much more God has for you. We will be talking about MORE in the coming weeks, and I hope you get a big picture of all of the good things God has in store for you. Be blessed today.

Sometimes we can get overwhelmed by stuff that is happening in our life. That happens easily to adults, but it can happen to kids, too. When that happens, do you have someone to talk to? Do you have someone to lean on? It is an important lesson to learn early on in life, that even if we don’t have someone “with skin on” that we can talk to right at the moment, God is always near. In fact, He loves us to run to Him. He is like a friend that we can talk to “without skin on”! Once we come to know God, we are connected with Him in a way that anytime we whisper His name, He’ll be there. He is willing and ready to listen to you. When you tell Him what is going on, often just His presence in your heart will make you feel like everything will be alright. What a great thing to know. Sometimes in the midst of something hard, it feels like it will go on like that forever. But be of good cheer! Better days are coming. It may be hard for the moment, but hold on, God is working on your behalf to make a good outcome for you. God can turn any situation around, and he is so good at making good out of things that are bad. So if it isn’t good yet, have a little bit of patience, because that means it’s not done yet. Just like a cake in the oven. You know all those ingredients will bake together to make a tasty cake. But if you try to eat the cake before it is fully cooked, yuck! So remember God is working, and everything will be alright!

Help Comes From My Keeper

Where do you go, when there in no one else to turn to? Who do you talk to, when no one wants to listen, who do you lean on, when there’s no foundation stable, I go to the Rock I know that’s able, I go to the Rock. That song’s theme is right out of Psalms 121. Where does your help come from? Who do you turn to when you need strength, or courage, or wisdom? Our help comes from the Lord, maker of heaven and earth. So if you need someone to turn to, someone to talk to, or someone to lean on, you do have the Lord. In fact, Psalms 121 says that you have a keeper. Who keeps you calm, who keeps you comforted, who keeps you from falling? Your Keeper! The Lord God Almighty. He gives you shade when you need it, and He is not asleep when you need to talk. He keeps your life. I don’t think I’ve ever heard a sermon on God being our Keeper, but when you think about Someone being with you, protecting you, guiding you, helping you, it seems like a really good title. God our |Keeper, keeps us. So keep on, trusting and relying on our Keeper. He is always there for us. Where do you turn to when you need help? To your Keeper.

A Place of Peace

I love the 23rd Psalm and the picture of peace that it brings. When things are shaking all around us, finding peace is what we long for. We need God’s peace when we are walking through any valley. We need God’s peace when the storms of life are threatening all around us. We need God’s peace in our homes, in our relationships, in our families, in our jobs, in our churches, in our nation and in our world. Every corner of life functions better when there is nothing missing and nothing broken. That is the actual definition of Shalom, which is the peace of God, nothing missing, nothing broken. One thing we notice about sheep is that they like peace. They won’t drink from a fast brook. They like still water. The Lord is our Shepherd, he feeds, guides and shields us. In God there is no lack, and we are completely satisfied in Him. We have no wants. He leads us to the place where we can drink from still and restful waters. Like sheep we see out in the pasture thrive on finding a peaceful place to rest and drink, we too need to find that place of peace. We function better when things are peaceful. When we find a place a peace, we don’t have to be afraid, because we know God is with us. We can be comforted, because we know we are under God’s authority and supported by his rod and staff. He even prepares a feast for us in the presence of our enemies. That sounds like a victory meal to me! I hope you can experience the peace of God in your life, today and every day.

Made for Hope

Faith is the substance of the things we hope for. We are made for hope, so that means we are made to be people of faith! Faith and hope go hand in hand! When things in our world turn upside down, we need to remember what God says about our circumstances. They are subject to change. We can be like Abraham who against all hope, still believed. He called those things which were not, as though they were. That takes some discipline, and that takes faith. It is easy to say things are as they are!!! It takes faith to say, I am strong even when I feel weak. The Bible says, let the weak say….I am strong. It doesn’t say let the weak say…I feel strong. Sometimes feelings come after we get in motion. Let the sick say, I feel well? No, it says I am well. That is faith in motion. To overcome the obstacles you might be facing, remember this, God has more good for you. He wants to pick up the pieces of your life. He wants to heal your broken heart. He wants to make all things new, because his dreams for you are HUGE! So when all hope is gone, remember God. You are made for hope. He wants your hope to return. He gives hope to the hopeless, and is the healer of broken hearts. God will lead you out of the dark valley, into his glorious, marvelous light!

God Picks Up the Pieces.

I’m sure we can all relate in some way to having our dreams and hopes come crashing down. You didn’t get the promotion you wanted, or the lead you had to start your business fell through. Maybe your relationship ended, or you have doubts you’ll ever find the mate of your dreams. Well, it doesn’t really matter which scenario identifies most closely with your situation, God is always good at helping us pick up the pieces, get dusted off, and getting back up again. We know the enemy isn’t happy when we are experiencing victory. He is the one who kills, steals and destroys. When destruction takes place, or our dream dies, or the enemy tries to steal our joy, we need to remember who to run to. We run right to God. HE is our fortress and our refuge, a very present help in times of trouble. Too often, the opposite happens. People go through a rough patch, and instead of running into the arms of God, they run away. They isolate themselves from their life-giving friends, and they hide out. Instead of hiding out, we need to hang out….hang out with the ones who can build you up and encourage you. Hang out where you hear the Word of God, in church! Hang out with your believing friends. We need to be around faith filled people who can help to breathe hope back into us. God can put us back together again. If you’re feeling torn apart, my prayer for you is that today you would let God begin to mend you back together again. He has big dreams for you. Run into His arms.

More Than We Can Imagine

Monday
God’s goodness is more than we can ever think or imagine.
Over and over this year, the scripture from Eph 3:20 has come to my mind about how much more God has for me. God is able to do exceedingly abundantly more than we could ever ask or even think. What an amazing God we serve! His power is at work within us, so that we can experience super abundantly, far over and above all that we dare ask or think. The amplified says it this way, “infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desire, thoughts, hope or dreams”. I don’t know about you, but I have some pretty high hopes and dreams. To think that God’s desire for us is far above what we could ever want, is pretty amazing. My prayer for you is that during this series on “more”, that we do experience God’s best in our lives. Because HIS BEST is much bigger than we can even dream, I hope that you start thinking bigger. Perhaps you are at a place where your dreams have been crushed, and your hopes have been dashed. I pray that your hope can be restored and that you can dream big and can begin to envision a great future, full of all of the wonderful benefits of heaven in your life. We want the Lord’s will to come to pass right here on earth as it is in heaven. It can, and it can in your life!! Let’s expect and believe for the very best that God has for us. MORE!
