I love babies! I loved having babies, and love holding babies, and I can’t wait to get to be a grandma. Babies are the best! God is the Giver of Life, and life in all forms is a blessing. In Deuteronomy God lays it out very plainly. We are given the option for life or death, and here is the big hint, choose life! We can choose life by the words we speak. If we want healthy relationships, we speak life- giving words of love and affirmation. There is the power of life and death in our words. Let’s speak words that build and edify to our kids, to our spouses, really to everyone we come in contact with. Jesus said in John 5:21 that God gives life, and so does Jesus. We get to choose life everyday by our words, but also by our actions. A life giver is a server. We find ways to help. All we have to do is look at Jesus, who as a life giver, looked to help and bless people wherever He went. We don’t serve and bless for recognition, or so that others can see us. We serve and bless because the Life Giver lives on the inside of us. It is God’s nature and His nature is inside of us. Why not see how you can bless with your words and action, and be a life giver today.
