Friday Aug 5 Right Place, Right Time, Right Thing

Our goal in life should be to be at the right place, doing the right thing at the right time. That means our hearts have to be sensitive and attuned to God, because He wants to guide and direct our steps every day. The right place always to be is in the presence of God. I want to be where God is, in His house, in His Word, and with His people. He lives in us, so He is always with us. That truth alone should make us more aware of where we go, what we see, what we hear, how we talk and what we do. Growing in patience happens as we chose to abide in Him and remain faithful to His Word. Being at the right place can mean that that like Daniel, we could be in the middle of a lion’s den. He continued doing what He knew was right, he proved faithful, even though he knew that it would result in the king putting him in front of a bunch of drooling lions. Growing in patience definitely didn’t prove easy for him. His life was on the line, but He knew His God and wouldn’t compromise even when facing death. We may never have to face a lion or circumstances similar for believing in Jesus, but the enemy presents obstacles in our path, and we have to make a choice to keep being faithful to what we know is right. Remain patient as we watch God deliver us. He is faithful to see us through. Let’s remain faithful to Him in the process.
