Can we be fruitful in our finances? YES! I really believe that God is using Christian men and women to finance the kingdom of God in a greater measure than the church has ever seen. I believe the wealth of the wicked is laid up for the just, just as the Bible talks about. I see that 2 ways, not only does God have a way of getting finances into the hands of believers to further His kingdom, but many unbelieving business people will come to the Lord through the influence of Godly business people, and their money will become righteous money, to be used in the kingdom of God. (Hallelujah!) So right now, I pray for all the Christian business people. I thank you Lord that you have placed them in strategic places, with increasing influence, and excellent ideas that can make money that can be used productively in your kingdom. I thank you Lord, that they can live to give, and love to give. I believe they give expectantly, joyfully, obediently, and thankfully. I thank You for blessing them with favor in business and for them to know that You are the One who has blessed them. I thank You that what You can get through them – can change the world. I believe that many will be blessed to the point of opposite tithing, where they keep 10% and give 90% to the kingdom of God. Thank You Lord, that they will know that You not only meet their needs, but that you are the God of abundant supply, and their true Source. I thank You Lord, that they are tithers which measures their obedience to bring 10% back to you, and givers which measures their generosity as they give above and beyond the tithe. Father I thank You, that as You gave Your best to us, we can give our best to You, and we can truly know that the secret to living is in giving. In Jesus Name, AMEN! That is living and giving fruitfully!

April 22 Identified With Christ
I know one thing that always hurts my heart deeply is when I see people claiming to know Christ, acting like He hasn’t made an impact or changed their lives. As believers, the evidence that we are Christians should be enough to be able to identify or convict us. Are we loving, are we honest, are we kind, are we helpful, are we humble, are we pure, are we noble, are we producing a harvest of righteousness? Do the words we speak bring life? If so, there is evidence to prove you belong to Christ. How we act really matters! Let’s be honest and authentic in every area of our life. Jesus demands it and deserves it. Recently we finished our annual ladies conference and are so delighted that it was such a fruitful time. We saw women with changed lives for eternity. Several women and teens renewed their commitment to the Lord. Several mentioned their lives being permanently impacted and their marriages and homes would never be the same. Some women experienced release from years of emotional baggage as they renewed their minds to the Word of God. Some teens got a new image of who they are in Christ. Corporately we committed to leave the past behind and overcome as we walk into the future. It was such a fruitful conference, we rejoice in the God’s goodness.
Tuesday 21 Fruit of Love
Today we are going to talk about the fruit of love in lives. I like to spend a lot of time reading in I Corinthians, and I just love how I Corinthians 13 (the love chapter) is sandwiched right between 2 chapters (12 and 14) that have impacted the church world so fully when it comes to spiritual gifts in the body. Even if we operate in all the gifts of the Spirit, but love is not evident in our lives, the gifts have no value. (I Cor 13:8) The Christian Spirit filled life should be evidenced most of all by LOVE. They will know we are Christians by our love! (I John 4:11) Without the fruit of the spirit (Gal 5:22) operating in our life, with love as priority number one, all of the other good things we might try to do are overshadowed and become not a beautiful orchestra in harmony, but a clanging cacophony – that sounds like discord, and ultimately brings discord. (I Cor 13:1). Let’s make a choice today to grow the fruit of love in our life. It will affect every area, and our families, our coworkers, and even strangers will benefit!
April 20 Know By Your Fruit
Have you ever wondered why people can say one thing and act like another? Hi, this is Dorette Schaal with your dailyeword. Someone must have asked James the same question many years ago. In James 3, the example is given about a fountain giving off pure water and bitter water, and a fig tree bearing olives or a grapevine growing figs. Should this happen? NO!! In this growing season, let’s grow some good fruit. Let’s dream big dreams and see them happen. Let’s let our words line up in a life giving way and do something great for God. Here is your dailyeword.
Monday 20
The kind of plant you are is the kind of fruit you produce. Matthew states it even more strongly. In Matthew 12:33 after talking about those who speak words against Jesus or the Holy Spirit, He calls the listeners a brood of vipers. He said a tree is known and recognized by its fruit. Good fruit comes from a good tree, and bad fruit comes from an evil tree. Out of the abundance of your heart, your mouth speaks (Matt 12:34).
I’m sure you have known someone who professes to be a Christian and says that they are Spirit filled and they have no good fruit or both good and bad coming from their life. Or as James puts it they have mouths that bless the Lord one moment, and curse the next. According to the Bible, these things should not be so. If it happened back then, this obviously isn’t a new problem. It still happens today. There is still no softer solution. These things should still not be so. In fact, James says that people who live this way have deceived themselves. (James 1:22) They may have listened to the message, but because they have not obeyed the Word, by putting it into practice, they have reasoned themselves against the Truth. Since we have the opportunity and the choice to change, let’s decide to produce only good fruit from our life. We can put our flesh under and live led by the Spirit. We can do this!
April 19 Prayer for Healing
Lets’s stay healthy! Let agree together in prayer. Father, we come to you in Jesus name and commit to you that we will put a guard on my lips. We want to speak words that are edifying and bring life and health to us and those around us. We pray that our tongues would be a rudder that guide our lives in the right direction. We repent and renounce words that have come from our mouths that have planted negative seeds. We want our lips to be filled with words of life and hope, and that your truth would bring health and life to our physical bodies.
We boldly speak Your Words, because they are written on the tablets of our heart. We pray that our mouths would be controlled by the Spirit of God and not by my flesh. We choose to honor You, praise You and adore you with our words. We magnify you with our voice and give You praise with the utterance from our hearts that You are our healer and we rejoice in the provision you have made for our health.
Thank you for sending forth your Word to heal us, to forgive us, and to restore us. Thank you for giving us your Word to see the ability of God released on our behalf. I go forth in your power to see great things accomplished through the power of your Word in my life and those I come into contact with. Thank you for greater health in my life. In Jesus’ Name, AMEN.
April 18 Refuse and Reject Sickness
The opportunity for sickness will undoubtedly come our way, but we must rebuke it and resist it and take our authority in Christ to rise above sickness. To begin, or to continue to walk in health, let’s treat our body like the temple that it is. Let’s make preparation for good health. Send the package of sickness back to Satan marked refused and rejected! Accept God’s provision for health!
I encourage you to read and meditate on these scriptures Ps 103:2,3, Is 53:4-6, Acts 10:38, 3 John 2. If you are sick right now, put God’s Word into practice – James 5:14-15, Mark 16:15-19.
One thing I have learned in life is that each time I come up to bat in this big baseball game of life, I’m going to swing for a home run. If for some reason I don’t have 100% success each time, I’m certainly not going to get out of the game. I keep “playing” until victory comes. That principle is good in many realms. Victory is ours in Christ. Let’s enforce that victory and believe for divine health on this side of heaven.
April 17 Doing Good and Healing All
The Old Covenant made provision for health in Exodus 15:26 and 23:25,26 where sickness was removed from their midst when the choice was made to serve the Lord God. The New Covenant (Testament) is better and more excellent, because it is established on even better promises as it says in Hebrews 8:6. The Old Covenant sounded pretty good, but the new one is even better! The New Covenant was instituted by Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross. He went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed by the devil. Jesus didn’t go around punishing people or making them feel guilty for being sick, He made them well. It is so good to know that Jesus wants us well. That would be a good thing to say over and over again…..Jesus wants me well. Jesus suffered in His physical body for us, so we don’t have to. He took the punishment of our sin, so we wouldn’t have to be punished. That’s the wholeness God desires, spirit, soul and body! It is by His stripes that we are healed. (I Peter 2:24)
April 16 Prevention Better than Cure
Prevention is better than cure. A stitch in time saves nine. A penny saved is a penny earned. A bird in hand is worth two in the bush. Make hay while the sun shines. Early to bed, early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise. These are all recognizable saying from yester year. These sayings have value because they teach us to be prepared. Being prepared in advance is always good advice. It is much better to prevent a sickness than to have to recover from one. Each season brings its own tv commericials for diseases, from flu and cold season to hayfever and allergies and everything in between. You hear it on the radio, on TV commercials, and advertisements everywhere!
Instead of just buying medicine, or falling into the mentality that this is allergy or flu–season, let’s be proactive and believe for greater health, a stronger immune system, and for infections, germs and viruses to die when they come near us. Our bodies are made to be healthy. Originally Adam and Eve were designed to be perfectly healthy. When sin entered the world at the fall of Adam and Eve in the garden, it’s ugly twin, sickness, tagged right along. Since that time everything perfect became imperfect, everything that was whole became broken, and everything that was beautiful and was made to last forever began to decay and fade. Because of Adam, all things began dying – the death process and sickness began with an act of disobedience. But the contrary happened through the cross – In Christ, all is made alive. I Cor 15:22. Thank God for the cross and Jesus taking stripes on His back so we can escape disease!
April 15 Health filled Thoughts and Words
James chapter 3 talks about the tongue having great power. I encourage you to read the whole chapter! If we are Spirit controlled, the Spirit of God on the inside of us is more powerful than our flesh (if we make the choice to yield to Him), so we can keep our tongue in check. We have the ability to fill our hearts with the right stuff, so that the overflow will be the right stuff! Because out of the abundance of our heart our mouths will speak. (Luke 6:45)
Prov 21:23 says this – he who keeps his mouth and his tongue keeps his soul from trouble. If we want a healthy body, we have to have a healthy soul (thought life). III John verse 2 says, “I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health, even as your SOUL prospers.” Souls (our mind, will and emotions) prosper when their heart is full of God’s Word. The book of Proverbs is filled with great faith building scriptures about the tongue and your health. What we say really does matter. So how do you rate your health? My answer is, strong and getting stronger!
April 14 Speak the Language of Health
7How can we speak the language of health? We hear the language of sickness all around us. We get infused with thoughts of sickness by the media, the enemy of our souls (the devil), and by watching people we know suffer through sickness. Even kids books talk about the elderly in terms of sickness instead of health. We have to make a deliberate attempt to change that in our homes and families. We can speak the language of health by engrafting God’s Word into our own mouth! God’s Word should be in the forefront of our life all the time! We can do this by listening to it on pod casts or by being in church listening to preaching, by reading God’s Word to our children and ourselves, by taping scripture verses about healing on our bathroom mirror. Mainly, I encourage you to saturate yourself with the Word, by being in the Word everyday. It really is powerful if we will use it.
