It is easy to be inspired with heavenly inspiration, hesitate, and even be tempted to go another way, before we reach the celebration when it comes to walking in the will of God. We looked at inspiration yesterday, let’s look at the next thing that can happen when we know God’s will and that is hesitation. We hesitate many times because of a lack of details… we are people of faith, and often it just takes a step of faith. In our natural brains, we want to know everything. Sometimes details are missing, and it makes it harder for us to keep walking because not only do we want the next step clearly marked for us, we want the whole plan. We would like for God to lay it out, from the beginning to the end, and a lot of details on the way. When we get inspiration from God, let’s be the kind of people walk by faith, not just by sight. We are people who trust God that He will give us the next step when we need it. He usually gives us just enough light for the step we are on. That makes this life of faith a great big adventure, and if we want to be obedient to the plan of God, let’s not hesitate, but be doers. We can walk in God’s will for our lives!
