Jesus lavishes love on us. What marvelous, lavish love we have received from God. He extends it to all of His children and we are called His children. What do loving, good dads do for their kids? A good dad, provides, protects and promotes his children. God is no different. He is our provider. We have our spiritual and physical life and breath in Him. He is our Jehovah Jireh, our provider, or Abba Father, our daddy God, who makes sure we don’t go without things necessary for life. As a good Father, He is our protector, keeping us safe from the things that could destroy our life. And lastly, he wants us to succeed. He is for us, with us, and in us! He gives us vision and passion and then provision that’s lasting. His love is represented in every aspect of our lives. Lavishing love on us, is what God is good at. The Message Bible says it this way, what marvelous love the Father has extended to us, we are called children of God! As God’s children, He has splashed his love all over us! I hope you are beginning to see and understand how much love God has for us, and because of Jesus, we are lavishly loved!
