What the world needs now, is love sweet love! We see it everywhere in our world, people are looking for love in all the wrong places. There might be a cheap substitute that looks like real love, but the only place to find real love is in Jesus. Hurting hearts look to either find real love, or subdue pain in many ways. It can include negative relationships, substance abuse, or living in a dream like fantasy world. Without the love of God in the middle of a relationship, there will be disappointment. Friends let you down, parents and kids have misunderstandings, and spouses give up on each other. Drugs and alcohol numbs the pain temporarily, but after the numbing effect is done, your problems resurface, only with more debt and having to face the consequences of bad choices made while your senses were numbed. How can we spread some of the real love that God has made available to us? As believers, we are given God’s nature to love and to giver. We can find our passion, or our trigger point and be light to our world by showing the love of Jesus. I hope you are beginning to think of a few ways that you can show love to the hurting world around you. There are more than 2.1 billion Christians on the planet, so let’s make a lasting impact and do something big….Let’s love like Jesus taught us. Because, Jesus is …..real love
